Trainning Under old syllabus 2002 - for ICWA

This query is : Resolved

10 March 2010 I am in trouble and with great doubt.
Now i am in Inter old syllabus 2002. Do i have to do my cost and works account training for one year or three years, if i register under new syllabus 2008 for final.

10 March 2010 3 years

10 March 2010 Dear Poornima If you have completed your inter ICWAI under old syllabus 2002 then 3 years practical traning is not required in Final ICWAI new syllabus 2008. Only 6 months industrial training is mandatory to become associate member of ICWAI. but in case if you have not completed inter icwai under old syllabus -2002 and you are going to switch off your old syllabus 2002 (inter Icwai) and register for new syllabus 2008 then 3 years practical traninng is mandatory.

10 March 2010 Thanks,

But still i am in confusion.

I haven't completed my inter in the old syllabus. i am going to write in this june under old syllabus 2002 only. But i am going to register for final in the new syllabus 2008.
Is completing Inter in 2002 syllabus is enough for training period of 6 months.

10 March 2010 You Can start your 6 months training after completing Final ICWAI.

10 March 2010 Thanks a lot Pragnesh
