Traffic Penalty Vouchers Allowed?

16 July 2009 While conducting Audit I found three vouchers where the company under Audit is found having three Traffic Signal Vouchers for breahing traffic Rules.

I in first instance disallowed them.Am I doing right?

They are explaining that its businees expenses as the bills of goods were to be delivered within a hour.And hence the person break the signals.

What should I do?

16 July 2009 Traffic Signal Vouchers for breaching Traffic Rules are the penalty imposed by the traffic officer under the Traffic Rules and as per I.T. Act any penalty imposed under any ACT or RULES will be disallowed. So the action taken by you is correct.

The plea of the company is incorrect coz they should have planned accordingly for urgent deliveries.
