Hi! I wanted to change my company name from a long time and have successfully filed an application. The new name also shows reserved on the MCA website. However the process is time consuming due to ongoing festive season and holidays. I want to register a trademark/ brandname. Since officially my company name hasnt changed yet,(the application is still under process), should I wait for the process to finish and then register the trademark or should I register the trademark anyway? As per my logic, trademark/brandname should be considered an asset and hence there should be no problem in case of change of company name but I might be wrong here. Please shed some light on this topic. TIA
