to calculate 26 weeks high low avg closing prices

i have to calculate 26 weeks closing high/closing low have data of last 6 months.i divide it in 26 weeks but confuse to calculate closing high/low in b/w that i have to chck the data that wts the high/low figure or by adding all and then calculate avg...pls suggest wts the right procedure...asap

24 September 2010 I suppose you mean weekly high / low for 26 weeks.

If that is the case, then you will have 26 week's data.
Each week has 5 closing values (Mon to Fri).
Put them in 26 columns (each column has 5 closing values)
Take high and low of each week.
So you have 26 high values and 26 low values.

Hope this clarifies. What is the objective?
