21 January 2013 can we file manual Income Tax return for more than 3 previous years( belated)? for e.g can I file I.T return for A.Y 2008-09 now. If yes, then under which section or rule?

You can not file return of A.Y: 2008-09 to 2010-11 now onwards as time limit for filing return gets over.
