DEAR EXPRTS
PLEASE GUIDE ME IN THE FOLLOWING MATTER:
A PVT. LTD. COMPANY TOOK A VEHICLE LOAN FOR PURCHASING BMW CAR FOR THE COMPANY. THEY FILE THE FORM 8 WITHIN LIME LIMIT. THIS LOAN IS SATISFIED ON DATED 09/02/2011.
PLEASE TELL ME THE COMPANY CAN FILE FORM 17 NOW? IF NOT THEN WHAT STEP SHOULS HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY THE COMPANY????

In accordance with the provisions of section 138 of the Companies Act, 1956 e-Form 17 must be filed within 30 days of the satisfaction of charge.
Any delay beyond a period of 30days, u have to make a petition before Company Law Board under section 141 of the Companies Act, 1956 for condonation of delay.
