Time limit for articleship

31 July 2013 I want to know that whether there is a time limit to join articled training after clearing 1st group of ipcc?
Also I want to do articleship in a big firm,so will it be prudent to clear 2nd group first and then go for it or shud I start it right away?

31 July 2013 At any time you can start your articleship after completion of your IPCC 1st group during your life time.

Maximum of the big firms requiring completion of both groups and some are requiring completion of both groups at a time and in first attempt with some merit. As per notice and observation even though got a rank in IPCC at the first attempt then couldn't get the articleship in big firms. So for query relating to articleship in big firm i keeping this query as open for other experts advise.

02 August 2013 My marks are way less than what i expected because my exams went very well. Can I apply for rechecking? And if so then is there a possibility that my marks may even decrease?

02 August 2013 As per my view 90% there is no benefit due to the rechecking, As well as ICAI also intentionally decrease the marks to decrease the pass percentage. As per my view getting of pass is most important than getting of good marks and we have to prove our talent in our job in practical side not in the theory side.
