I'm appearing for group 2 this may. Will I be eligible to appear for finals in November of I get through my exams this time ?

09 May 2017 It depends on date of joining your articleship. You can apply for finals in last 6 months of your articleship & on completion of articleship.

02 August 2025 Here’s the deal with your CA exams and articleship timing:

* Since you’re appearing for **Group 2 of IPCC in May 2017**, you’ll know your result by around **July 2017**.
* For **appearing in CA Final exams in November 2017**, the ICAI requires that you must be in the **last 6 months of your articleship** or have **completed it**.
* You mentioned you’ll complete **2.5 years of articleship by Feb 2018**, so in November 2017, you **won’t yet be in your last 6 months** (which would start around August 2017).

**Therefore, you will NOT be eligible to appear for the November 2017 Final exams.**

You’ll be eligible for Final exams in **May 2018** (or Nov 2018), once you complete 2.5 years or enter last 6 months of your articleship.
