Threshold for gst registration for online restaurants

18 August 2019 Sir, we.are a takeaway restaurant in Greater Noida registered with zomato. In the current financial year we have now crossed sales of Rs. 20 lacs. Zomato is insisting that we apply for GST number. My view is that from 1/4/2019 the threshold limit for GST registration is Rs.40 lacs. I request your expert advise. Thanks.

19 August 2019 The threshold limit for liability to take Registration in case of Services is Rs. 20 Lacs Only. The threshold limit is Rs. 40 Lacs in case of Goods. In your case, you are liable to take registration.
