One of my client has deducted lower rate of TDS i.e. 3% instead of 10% under section 194I for certificate received as per saec.197 from his party.But the certificate issued is not in the name of my client. Is my client deduct TDS at lower rate of TDS?

It is not clear from your query as to whether your client has deducted TDS or your client has received TDS certificate from some other deductor...Please clarify

Then you are talking of which certificate? And if the certificate you are talking of is the TDS certificate which was downloaded from nsdl then how is it not in the name of your client?
