Suppose an employee changes his job during the finanical year after 9 months. He was not given the benefit of HRA by his previous employer as he waqs not able to submit proof in time. Can he claim the tax benefit of HRA of these 9 months from his new employer.

yes...off course..you can submit the bills to the new employer and same shall be taken into account for.
