TDS Statements filed- Token numbers-request

12 November 2025 Sir, for the F.Y 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, for a particular company we could not able to find the the TDS statment filed -token numbers/receipts-Ack's.numbers- are not found with the assessee. So, can we make request in the traces for requesting such token/receipt/ack.numbers, becuase without which we are not able to view whenever any notice/intimation is recieved for damand. Any idea regarding this sir.

12 November 2025 1. Yes, you can write to the jurisdictional TDS circle officer on the company's letterhead requesting the token/receipt/acknowledgment numbers citing valid reasons. Officers generally provide such details directly.
2. Or an alternative, you can visit the nearest NSDL center to request the lost token/RRR number by providing PAN and other filing details. You may also write to NSDL e-Governance or the appropriate authority to obtain duplicate provisional receipts if lost.
