TDS Statements filed- Token numbers-request

Sir, for the F.Y 2012-2013 and 2013-2014, for a particular company we could not able to find the the TDS statment filed -token numbers/receipts-Ack's.numbers- are not found with the assessee. So, can we make request in the traces for requesting such token/receipt/ack.numbers, becuase without which we are not able to view whenever any notice/intimation is recieved for damand. Any idea regarding this sir.

1. Yes, you can write to the jurisdictional TDS circle officer on the company's letterhead requesting the token/receipt/acknowledgment numbers citing valid reasons. Officers generally provide such details directly.
2. Or an alternative, you can visit the nearest NSDL center to request the lost token/RRR number by providing PAN and other filing details. You may also write to NSDL e-Governance or the appropriate authority to obtain duplicate provisional receipts if lost.
