I Have Received a notice to pay the short deduction/collection of my TDS Return for the Financial Year 2011-2012. When this kind of notices will be issued??

This type of notice is issued when you have not/short deducted TDS and /or not paid/short paid TDS.

Such a case where TDS amount paid is lesser than the actual liability..

27 December 2013 Ok thanks for your reply.But, when the challan is paid in 194c section and utilized for the profession 194j now my doubt is whether the notice is issued for this situation.Moreover, I have filed the return as per the rules there is no short deduction to my knowledge..
