Tds return for directors remuneration

25 April 2019 Ours is a pvt ltd company. Directors are being paid remuneration as upon which TDS has been deducted. Now TDS Return has to be filed latest by 31st May 2019. Please let me know which form from the site of NSDL I should download.

25 April 2019 form 26Q is applicable for tds deducted on director remuneration paid

26 April 2019 Kamlesh sir, can the remuneration be treated as Salary being it is paid on monthly basis to the Director. Because in 26Q the TDS rate may be higher than 24Q treatment. What will be advisable and correct one. Please guide.

26 April 2019 24Q for Salary Return only. 26Q for Other than Salary Return (Residents), 27EQ for TCS Deductions and 27Q for Non-Resident payments.

26 April 2019 Lot of thanks to all of you. Ours is a pvt ltd company and we are paying/providing salary to directors as on 30th or 31st of each month. We have paid TDS u/s 92-B and as such we will file tds return in form no. 24Q.

26 April 2019 Simultaneously I would like to know what is the difference between salary to directors and remuneration to directors and what should we provide in our books of accounts. Directors are drawing on account only.

26 April 2019 Dear Tarique,It is vast subject and for More Information, it is best to Consult your Company Auditor because he only going to file your IT returns and other IT related compliance. So consulting them is best.
