How to generate FVU file?what is CSI file?Is the download of CSI file is necessary to generate FVU file ?

You need to download the latest version of RPU to generate FVU File. CSI File is must to download from www.tin-nsdl.com for reconciliation/matching of challans deposited by you during the last quarter.
