07 March 2012 Hi Every One....
One of my client has not filed Return of Income Tax for F.Y.2008-2009 for which TDS deducted Rs.3000/- so is it possible to claim Refund now ? or any other Circular on which support Refund can Claim ? or what other solution to claim Refund ?......

07 March 2012 Without filing the return you can not claim the refund, because TDS is a deduction process on a particular income, when you file the return the department access your overall income then close your assesment adjust your tds with payable taxes if any then refund the taxes, hence if you have not filed ITR you will not able to get, and also this is 2011-12 and FY 2008-09 is time barred case you can not file belated return also hence chances of getting the refund is not possible
