03 March 2014 Do we have to pass entries for a pvt ltd company for the tds intimation which we receive for late payment of interest or short payment.
For a company how to reco? i have entered as per the bank statement.

03 March 2014 if you have defaulted in payment of TDS and you are paying Int. on late payment following entry you need to pass

Int. on Late payment of TDS
To Bank

05 March 2014 over here the tds intimation is received but later the company had made application for refund so i guess no entry needs to be passed as it was not paid only the tds intimation was received.

can you help me for reco. should i put the cheque book and slip book dates in the bank date column in tally for reco as i have entered as per the bank statement.

05 March 2014 normal bank reconciliation that we do for every company/firm.
