27 July 2011 Submitted 50 TDS certificates valued 2 crores and claimed refund of 2 crores .But CPC processed for 1.2 crores only , without intimating the reasons for short payment .How to get details of defective TDS . Kindly guide. Thanks in advance.

28 July 2011 First you should check your status of 26AS at Income-tax/NSDL Site.Confirm yourself that all tds as you claimed in the return are reflected or not.If some have missing than you ask the deductor to file the TDS Return for the concerned TDS.
