30 January 2008 Please tell me whether the TDS is required to be deducted under the provisions of income tax from the payments for vehilces reparing charges .Service Charges for reparing exceeds Rs 50,000/- p.a

31 January 2008 NO TDS should not be cut. It would be cut only if ur in contractual obligations with the service provider such as annual maintence of the vehicles.
