Tds on transporters

TDS is not applicable if transporter provides his PAN number otherwise TDS u/sec 194C is applicable.

PAN NO IS REQUIRED IN CASE OF EVERY TDS TO BE DEDUCTED, SO DOESNT IT MATTERS IF WE ARE PAYING FOR EXAMPLE RS.200000 IN ONE SHOT TO HIM AND HE IS PROVIDING US PAN CARD TOO ?? @ABHIJIT

Oh my dear, no deduction of Tax is required for Transporter if he is holding PAN & which are submitted to us. For non deduction of TDS in case of Transporter you just required a copy of PAN card of deductee. And please read Sec-194C.

If Pan Provided not Required to deduct Tds. pan s not provided by him . you should deduct 20% tax on there
