TDS ON SERVICE U/S 194J AND 194I

Can anybody tell me that whether TDS should be deducted inclusive or exclusive of service tax charged by the party u/s 194j and 194i.

30 June 2009 TDS Should be deducted always on the bill amount charged.so when bill amount is inclusive of service tax then tds has to be deducted on full amount inclusive of service tax.

There is a circular of CBDT clarifying that TDS should not be made on the service tax in respect of 194I. Whereas there is no such clarification as regards 194j.

I am agree with Ratan Sharma opinion TDS to be deducted on entire bill including service tax in all cases except payment under section 194 I , which will be excluding of service Tax.
