Tds on salary

03 April 2012 My organisation has given me salary for the month of march on 2nd April after deducting TDS amount of Rs.267/-.But for the calculation of TDS they have not considered the March 2012 salary.
My query is whether the salary for the month of march is considered in the next financial year?

03 April 2012 They would have considered the salary of march 2012. But if you have submitted any reimbursements or proof of deductions, they would have deducted the same for computing tax.

03 April 2012 No sir they have not considered the salary of March 2012 and even i have not submitted any documents for deduction.....plz tell me whether there exist any provision which says that salary for the month of march would be considered in next financial year.?Inothere words whether salary for the period March11-Feb.12 is considered as annual salary for 2011-12.

03 April 2012 In such case, ur employer might have erred in computing ur taxable salary.
