Tds on rental machines

we have taken CISCO ROUTER on rental basis for one year. Would like to know the tds rates applicable, whether under 194-c OR 194-I ?. Pls. advise. . .

14 April 2012 It amounts to taking equipment on rent. Hence, Sec 194I will be applicable and TDS rate is 2%. Eventhough, its a contract, any time, specific section prevails over general section. i.e. 194I will prevail over 194C.
