Tds on payment to post office

We Send Bulk Letters through Ordinary post By Post Office and make payment to Post office through Cheque. whether post office is consider under contract and have to deduct TDS @2%. The Limit Is Crossing Rs75000/-.

As the act clarifies that all sums deducted in accordance with the provisions of Chapter XVII‐B by deductors other than an office of the Government shall be paid to the credit of the Central Government.
