Is TDS to be deducted on ocean freight payements ?

Yes TDS to be deducted u/s 194C.

Ocean Freight includes Freight pls go through TDS Ready Racknor for this tricky Questions.
Ocean freight is exmpted if paid for the services rendered out side india and billing in foreign curency.
IF it is paid to Indian Agency and bill in Indian Currency is liable for Tds u/s 194 J @1% or 2% as per stauts of the agency.
