13 July 2009 laundry service is a kind of service contract, therefore, in my opinion , no tds is liable.

14 July 2009 As per Income tax act there is no provisions to deduct trs on laundry charges unless it is type of contract

Tax is to be deducted on Laundary since it is contract for Work and Labour.
