26 May 2014 i given my vehicle for service . after completing of service service provider given bill consist of Parts amount Rs.10000 and labor amount Rs.55000 (including service tax)
. in this case tds applicability is?

26 May 2014 Yes applicable u/s 194 C of the Income Tax Act 1961 I assume you are covered under 44AB or you are a corporate assessee

tds and WCT both will be applicable...

if remaining condition satisfies

27 May 2014 yes you have to deduct the TDS u/s 194 C if your Prop. business and you are auditing u/s 44AB and in your firm or company. then TDs u/s 194 @ 1% if service provider is individual/HUF and @ 2% if service provider is otherwise.

27 May 2014 just i am a common man(individual) without TAN and 44AB not applicable then what is tds implication?

27 May 2014 you need not to deduct tds... because until you came under purview of audit you need not to deduct tds as an common man.. no liablity
