Tds on immovable property

12 November 2013 Hello all,
we have deposited TDS on immovable property u/s 194IA but PAN of the seller was wrongly entered and TDS was deposited to the credit of wrong seller.
Plz advice me about revision of the same

12 November 2013 If You have obtained TAN then you may go to your Jurisdiction Officer of TDS Ward
&
If you don't have TAN then, You may contact your Jurisdiction Assessing Officer.
Both Officers have power to change PAN Details which you have wrongly mentioned on the basis of supporting documets.

12 November 2013 Hi sir,
i dont have TAN since for deduction of TDS on property, TAN is not mandatory
Further, i also went to the jurisdiction assessing officer on the basis of PAN of buyer but they told me that there is no provision of revision of form 26QB in income tax law

12 November 2013 You may contact to your Bank through which you have paid challan amount.
