Tds on freight charges

10 September 2011 Dear Sir,

I would like to tell you, are we liable deducting the tds in case of deducter is private Ltd.Co.and deductee is also Pvt.Ltd.co. plz confirm me also what percentage of Tds in case of freight charges and what limit. Is there any surcharge and education cess.I have paying freight for out of country cosignment.
Plz suggest me,

10 September 2011 TDS not applicable if Transporter Quoted his pan No. in his Bill/GR/LR.

TDS also not applicable on see freight.
