Are TDS provisions applicable on Reimbursement made for Expenses of employees eg. Telephone reimbursement?

In Case of Employee - no Tds
In case of Retainer - it will depend on the Invoice received from the retainer. If a combined inv is received then on both amount(professional Charges & reeimbursement)
If seperate then no Tds on Reimbursement

If you are reimbursing actuals then tds will not attract. If you are paying adhoc amount then tds will be applicable.
