I am requesting you to kinldy clarify my doubt as below:

Compensation for Survey Boat Drowned. Any TDS attract or not. If attract let me know the Rate of TDS n which section and limit of the Compensation amount.

08 March 2013 It will not attract TDS .But the transaction will be subject to capital gain tax. As complete information is not availble about
the survey boat, i am not able to determine the same..
