Tds on commission paid to credit card issueeng bank

12 October 2012 Dear Sir,

One the Credit card swipe in a store or shop the credit card issuing bank released the amount to respective vendor after deducting his commission. In vendor books of account these transaction was reflected as a commission paid to bank.

Is the TDS applicable on such cases or not. Any clearification.
