Assessee(Ind. audited u/s 44AB) wants to make a gift of Rs.1,00,000 to his non resident friend in UK. At what rate TDS has to be deducted?? What does DTAA state in this regard??

Dear Mukul
As per my knowledge there is no DTA for this. And gift payment is not allowed as expenses deduction from profit hence as per my opinion not requires to deduct the tax.
