10 September 2025 Notices sent for TDS defaults and PAN errors under sections 200A/206CB via TRACES always use the TAN-date format.
Typically, the first four characters of your TAN in uppercase, followed by an underscore (_), and the date of filing the regular statement in the DDMMYYYY format—for example: ABCD_30092012 if your TAN is ABCD12345E and the statement filing date is 30th Sept 2012.
