12 December 2016 Dear Sir,

We have not deducted TDS u/s. 194I from june 2016 till date, for the payment we have made.We came to know about this just today. Now we are going to deduct TDS and we have to pay Interest @ 1% + 1.5%. My question is, from and till which date interest @ 1.5% will be applicable?

Kindly guide on this issue urgently.

14 December 2016 TDS would be applicable from April 2016 or first month of rent paid which ever is earlier.
