TDS rate based on Section
Interest will be 1 % per month or part of the month from the date of deduction
Penalty may be amount of TDS which is not deducted

W. e. f. 01.07.2010 interest on late payment of TDS 1.5% p. m. In case of late deduction of TDS interest 1% p. m.
