21 September 2014 Income Tax return filed shows TDS for only Rs.5000= I do not know how claim for such a low figure was filed. Do you think it is possible to check the amount of actual TDS that was charged by the banks that I was dealing with. The banks were Standard Chartered, HSBC (accounts now closed) and Citibank (still active). my all the records are lost. We still need IT Depat.'s cooperation. As per my estimate amount should be around Rs.26000= because of low interest prevailing at that time.

22 September 2014 if it was from AY 2009-10 then check your 26 AS statment and correlate with form 16A
