Can TDS return be filed without user id and password ?? One of my friend told me that it is possible using tds return software ??? Is it true?

Yes. Using TDS software, the return can be submitted at any of the TIN-FCs managed by NSDL. TIN-FCs are set-up at specified locations across the country. Details are given in the NSDL-TIN website.
