TDS Exemption

Plz inform me the procedure to get the TDS exemption certificate from IT department if the assessee is not making profits but its client are deducting TDS on invoices raised.

you will apply to the ito give all documents return copy,p&l a/c,b/s which are required for not deduct tds.before the due date of deduction and get certificate from ito and submit to the client

there is no any fee for application you are apply in plain paper to the ito

UNDER SEC 197,YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPLICATION TO ASSESSING OFFICER IN FORM NO 13 TO GET A CERTIFICATE FOR NO TAX DEDUCTION TO BE MADE BY CLIENT.PROOF OF NO PROFITS BEING MADE TO BE PRODUCED LIKE AUDITED ACCOUNTS TO THE ASSESSING OFFICER.
