What can be done when the TDS uploaded and paid is higher the actual amount. Can i claim refund by rectifying it?
If so How and is there any other way to do it?

Hi
since the tax is gone to the govt a/c
it is dificult to get back.
you have 2 option
1.file revised E TDS revrese the excess amount to the other deductee person (they should fall under same category)
2. ask deductee to file incomet tax return & claim the TDS as refund.
