r we required to make e payment for tds also in case of company
also if for april n may if paymaent had been made by deposit of cheque will it have any consequences

Only company is required to pay the eTDS payment

Online tax deposit is mandatory in case of the corporate asseesse & the person who are required to get their acconts audited u/s 44 (Tax Audit) of the income tax act & from April, 08 onwards there is no option for such asseesses to deposit the tax in cash or by cheque. For others it is optional to deposit the tax online.
