hi,
pl let me clear in case of TDs U/s 192 on salary the date of deposit would be 31 Mar or 7 april ?
what would be the situation if salary paid for mar in April ?

Within one week from last day of the month in which tax was deducted.
tax deducted means at the time for payment See the date of payment and add 7 days from such payment date

Sorry,Mr Manmohan as per 192(1)TDs on salary should be deducted at the time of payment to employee not on credited means the concept of "payment or at the time of deduction which ever is earlier" is not applicable in sec 192.

as it is due in april tds need to be deucted in month of april....and paid till 7th may
