Tds demand and correction

06 September 2014 I have filed TDS statement for Q2 2013-14. In which I have entered date of payment which related to Q1 - 31-5-2013 in one entry. The entry has C -higher deduction. I have received notice for demand for that entry Rs. 3400. I have filed revised return but it has been rejected. The reason is

1. If reason-ded is C;only PAN,Amtpymt,Dtpymt updatable,reason-ded not updatable,ded delete not allowed

It means I can't change date of deduction in revised return and my demand will not clear without it.

Suggest me what should I do to clear that demand.

Your early reply will be appreciated because now the client ( Bank )has received notice from his head office for that.

06 September 2014 I have changed the date and filed the revised return but it is not accepted by traces. As the entry is containing C and it is not allowed to correct date of payment when there is C entry
