A new company has been set up.Production still not started.The company does not have TAN registration number and there is a bill amounting to Rs. 85000/- for maintenance work of machineries, does the company liable to deduct TDS.

Yes, You are lible to deduct TDS . apply for TAN and deposit after TAN alloted.
