Tds deducted but not reflecting in form 26 as

Dear Sir
My friend is working in Central excise dept in Chandigarh. last year he was posted in jammu and kashmir for 3 months.
department issued form 16 which shows tds deducted at jammu& kashmir but form 26 AS doest not reflect same. I double checked the pan which is correct
please guide me

Plz check the TDS certificate is downloaded from the TRACES or not. If it is not from TRACES, there is possibility that your employer has not file return of TDS.
