Tds deducted

28 September 2011 Dear Sir,

One of our vendor issued a bill in 2007/08 accrdingly we booked and deducted tds on that remittence also payment after deducted is paid to vendor is in 2010

now that vendor asking tds certificate for the year 2010-11
now what to tell them?

30 September 2011 TDS certificate should have been issued for the year in which was deducted and paid to IT Dept.
