TDS certificate not issued

03 April 2009 Problem we are facing is we are supplying Computers to Govt department. They are deducting TDS on supply also without listening our argument. And they are not issuing any TDS certificate, instead they are giving us the copy of receipt of TAX deposited by them. Thirdly they are not efilling return so the Online website is not showing the credit in our name.

Question is "How will I claim this amount from Income Tax Department ?? "

You have to educate them that they have to issue tds certifiate. Explain them properly and get the certificate. Arguing with them will not in any way help you.

04 April 2009 You have to contact higher authority of concern dept or Accounts dept for TDS certificate also send one letter with Regd A D to concern dept HO
