25 May 2012 Is it complusory to download TDS Certificate (form 16/16A) from nsdl site for the year 2011-12,presently we(company) are using TDS software which provides us facility to generate TDS Certificate and if yes then is it any fees & last date to download certificate.

25 May 2012 For companies w. e. f. 01.04.2011 it is compulsory to issue TDS certificate generated from NSDL. There is no fees ot last date to download the certificate.

25 May 2012 yes agree with expert,

now its is mandatory to download tds form 16A form tin nsdl website because each certificate has their certificate no from which any deductee will know about their deduction

07 June 2012 Form no. 16 is optional to be issued from NSDL. Further form no. 16 issued from NSDL only has TDS details and no salary details and hence we need to issue fresh certificate manually or through software also.
