TDS at Source from Senior Citizens

18 March 2011 Kindly advise if there are any exemptions available for Senior Citizens for providing Consultancy or Other Services. Or is there any other solutions available for Senior Citizens to avoid TDS at source.

18 March 2011 You can make application under section 197 through form 13 for obtaining no deduction of TDS or lower deduction certificate of tax.
