Can we use a challan under different section for adjustment of deductions, if there is no specific section given on challan.

No you can not make adjustment because
There is specific line to mention code in challan.
on account of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)/Tax Collected at Source (TCS) from____(Fill up Code)
